 A Letter from our Founder

I would like to welcome you to our website “Geeks 'n' Nerds International,” the parent company of “Geeks 'n' Nerds” Computer Service and Repair Specialists. Our corporate office is headquartered in the beautiful Pacific Northwest city of Salem, Oregon. I want to take this opportunity to thank both our loyal customer base, which now numbers in the thousands, who may have come to our site to see what additional services we provide, and secondly, I want to thank those of you who have come to our site for the first time looking at the “Geeks ‘n’ Nerds” franchise business opportunity.

Based upon my 35 years of franchise executive experience, I know first hand what it takes to build a great franchise opportunity. Since we are in the service segment of the franchise world, the cornerstone for success is that our company has to be built on “WORLD CLASS SERVICE,” second to none in the industry. We define “WORLD CLASS SERVICE” from an operational standpoint based upon the following criteria: we complete over 98% of our work, no matter what the issue, in 24 hours; we offer to each customer free pick-up, free delivery, and reinstallation at no additional charge; we perform service calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; and most importantly, we do the work right the first time with guaranteed satisfaction, no exceptions.

Geeks ‘n’ Nerds” franchise business model is primarily designed for either of two profiles. The first profile is the Marketing Management Executive, who from day one wants to operate multiple franchises. The second profile is the individual looking to have a great business in a single specific market. We also guarantee and enforce exclusive territories for our franchisees. Our franchise model is designed not simply to be profitable, but to be extremely profitable. Most importantly, our franchise is priced so as to be affordable to most everyone; our franchise pricing and our franchise agreement in terms of royalty and national ad funds are totally unique to the franchise industry. Our franchise is not one dimensional; unlike most of our competitors who want to specialize in a strictly mobile or remote operation; our model is designed so that we work on the customer’s computer in their home or office, but also in our stores. While most of our competition comes from independents, we offer a unique set of differences. For example, our stores are not called “shops”; they are called “Stores” because they are not dark and gloomy with the work being done behind walls. Our stores have interior walls only 4 feet in height; this design offers our customers a completely transparent view of our operation; our store design is open, light, warm, and inviting. Our customers comment daily that they like walking into our store, seeing their computer being worked on, and being able to speak to the technician.

In closing, I realize I have probably raised more questions than answered about our business. Therefore, I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you myself, and to this end, I want to offer you my personal telephone number so that you may call me directly. I look forward to hearing from you.

Successfully yours,
